About the Project

Working with my friends at Cloudred, I designed NYC Service.org - the New York citywide initiative tasked with setting a new standard for how cities can tap the power of their people to tackle their most pressing challenges. The look of the site has evolved since I first designed it in 2009, but the bones are still there.

Over six million service opportunities have been filled by volunteers since the launch of NYC Service and more than 10,000 people have been trained in CPR. NYC Service regularly recruits volunteers to coat rooftops white for the NYC CoolRoofs initiative.
